Jack Bockman of Oswego , and Matt Durdan of Grand Ridge, won the Illinois State Metric and Conventional Prone Smallbore Rifle Championship titles, respectively. The match was held September 8 and 9, 2018. The two day championships took place at the I.S.R.A. Range near Bonfield with attending competitors from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
The 2018 member upgrade promotion was drawn at ISRA Headquarters on October 12th.
Chatsworth, IL – The Illinois State Rifle Association Political Victory Fund has formally endorsed Bruce Rauner for Governor and is urging all gun owners in Illinois to support Governor Rauner’s candidacy.

As I read an article with the headline “RNC internal poll finds GOP in danger due to complacent Trump voters: report” on thehill.com, I was reminded of what Illinois State Rifle Association leaders told those of us who attended a regional meeting in Marion Tuesday of last week.
We conservatives in general and law-abiding firearm owners in particular are all too often our own worst enemies. We are too often too apathetic or uninformed to bring our full power to bear against our very real foes.
