Democrats are having a free-for-all in Virginia after their big win this fall. Another ridiculous bill has been prefiled to be printed on January 8, 2020. SB 64 outlaws firearms training, and could impact other group sports such as Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense training, etc. The bill is designed to prohibit paramilitary activity (read that “citizen militias”). But as it stands, it would do a lot more. And turn law abiding Virginians into felons with a snap of the handcuffs.

We have learned that the Kathleen Willis FOID Card Bill
(SB1966) is scheduled to be voted on in one of the upcoming Veto Sessions. The
first Veto Session is scheduled for October 28, 29, and 30. The second Veto Session is scheduled for
November 12, 13 and 14. There is enough
time before either session for things to change, but there is very little time
to get ready should the vote come in one of these sessions. I encourage all firearm owners to attend
every possible townhall meeting you possibly can this summer, fall and
winter. The same is true for every gun
club meeting, gun show and wherever gun owners gather. The fact is the fight is on and the
antigunners are out for blood. In a Town Hall meeting held on Tuesday Senator
Julie Morrison (D-Deerfield) was even willing to use the word “confiscation”. See Video

Chatsworth,
IL – The spring session has come to an end and 2nd Amendment
supporters can breathe a sigh of relief as one of the most expansive gun
control measures in recent history failed to win support in the Illinois
Senate.

This weekend is a very significant one in the history of our country. On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere made his famous midnight ride, which has forever been memorialized by Longfellow.

The Illinois General Assembly is on recess until April 30th. There are only 21 Legislative days until adjournment. This means that things may happen quickly in Springfield so everyone will have to be on high alert.
