The Official ISRA Calendar

This calendar displays all ISRA, ISRA Range, and non-ISRA events.  NOTE: Class cost of $20.00 per student.  No event will be scheduled without the mandatory paperwork.  All instructors will be required to provide a copy of their liability insurance prior to event approval.

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2020, guests will be allowed on the ISRA Range.  The Range will return to normal operations subject to social distancing and hand washing.  The use of a face mask is required if in close proximity to other patrons.

  • Scout Rifle League

    Scout Rifle League

    The Scout Rifle League starts in June and ends in September on Range 5.  The league is for both experienced and new shooters.  The course of fire will be 5 sighted shots.  The match will consist of 10 shots slowfire, 10 shots timed fire, and 10 shots rapid fire.  A bipod may be used for slow fire.  Timed fire will be shot using a low barricade.  These both will be at 100 yrds.  Rapid fire will be shot standing using a barricade.  Rapid fire will be shot at 50 yrds.  Slings are allowed.  There will be two classes; one for optic sights and one for iron sights.  There will be two relays; the first relay begins at 3:30pm and the second begins at 4:30pm.  There is an initial registration fee of $10 and then each match will be $5.  Contact Richard Pearson at 815.635.3198 or email executive@isra.org or Laura Hack at 815.635.3198 or email laura@isra.org.

    Targets are furnished.  All shooting is prone, with a one shot minute time limit.  NRA Smallbore Rules apply as well as all NRA rules and tie breaking procedures.
    F-Class matches will follow the same course of fire, but may be fired on A-27, A-51, and A-33 targets.

    Awards:  Juniors must shoot at least five matches to qualify for awards.  Adults must shoot eight matches to qualify for awards. In the event a shooter fires in excess of the minimum, 
    only the top five or eight matches will count for score and season average.  This is not a “cut throat” competition.  It is an “instructional” and learning experience.  
    We would love to see all people who bought CMP smallbore rifles participate.

    Cost:  $3.00 per match.  Ammo will be furnished to juniors.  Loaner rifles are available to juniors.
