Small Talk
Primaries

Well, it's election time again. If some of you said, "No that's in the fall", you are dead wrong. This is a very important time to vote. I know a lot of people just say that they will wait until 2 candidates are picked and then vote. This is so foolish because now is when you get to pick the candidate you want to vote for in the fall! Just think if all the 70 million gun owners came out in the primary and voted. What kind of candidates do you think would be elected?
See this is the time that you get to separate the chaff from the wheat. Don't
just go home for supper and later hear the news that some anti-gunner won the
spot. Duhh, you could have changed that, but no, supper and the evening paper
seemed to be more important at the time. You don't realize how precious that
right to vote is. Ask someone from Iraq and they will surely tell you about it.
This is the chance when you get to foam at the mouth and bite someone you don't
want in office. It's the one time politicians are depending on you. They are at
your mercy and for once you can say I don't like your anti-2nd Amendment stance
and it's my turn to finally do something about it. All year long there is
nothing you can do about the way he votes on bills. Here is where you tell him
exactly how you feel. Don't pass up the opportunity! This is your vote to
finally have a say about the person you like or dislike to represent you. Don't
let other people make the choice for you!
I love when a worker for some anti-gunner hands me a leaflet with his name and
picture on it and asks me to vote for him. I return it to him and say "Sorry I
only vote for people who uphold the 2nd Amendment, not those who vote against
it." It's the day I get to tell their campaign workers exactly why he may not be
getting votes. Just imagine if he heard that same line from 100 pro-gun voters
in the same day. The natural reaction would be to go back to campaign
headquarters and say "Man , I don't know, but I think if he loses, it's because
of his anti-gun stance. An awful lot of people told me that's the very reason
they never would vote for him."
Please vote that day and as you walk toward that polling place remember one
thing:
"FEAR THE POLITICIAN THAT FEARS YOUR GUN!"
