On Thursday Nov.1st we will be holding the first ISRA Game Night dinner at the Diplomat Banquet Hall located at Rte. 83 and North Ave in Elmhurst, IL.
We plan to have more guns than were at the Fun Raiser in May. There will be more raffle games to play at this event plus a Lucky 25 Prize Table and a Bonanza Gun Table.
You.ll be able to play a Poker hand to try and get more chances and a Blackjack card game to try and beat the dealer for more chances also and those are only two of the games.
What we are trying to do is create a carnival type of atmosphere for a night of games and fun! There will be 10 game raffles to play.
We also have Tim Slagle, a professional comedian coming in to MC the first part of the dinner and also give us his comedy routine after the dinner.
Our aim is to make each of our dinners more enjoyable for you and your friends to attend and have one great time being there. I wish our friends from Central and Southern Illinois were closer, so they also would find it easier to attend. If you feel like making the trip up North, please consider it our invitation to purchase a ticket and join us. We want to increase the attendance at each successive dinner, whereby the gun owners will be directly contributing and creating a bigger and bigger war chest to uphold the 2nd Amendment.
It's up to us, the people of Illinois, to take on the battle of preserving our right in this state. No one else is going to do our battle. The ISRA is the only fighting force working for you here at home and it's up to us to back them 100%.
Consider it the start of a great campaign to only get stronger and stronger as time goes on. Every one of you can help by attending these dinners and helping us to grow by bringing friends with you and hopefully getting them to also become members while helping to build the war chest.
We have to get rid of the defeatist attitude and start moving forward with the mindset that we can change things if enough of us get into the front ranks of the battle. There is strength in numbers. Let.s start building those numbers. It's still government .by the people. so we have to get more people together! If people don.t read the correct publications concerning gun control they are uniformed. If they read the newspapers they are definitely misinformed. Invitations will go out and tickets will go on sale mid September.
Please make it a point to join us at Game Night and bring as many friends with you that you can, especially the uninformed. Information and invites will appear in September. It's that time of the year where you may win a new gun for the upcoming hunting season! Keep this in mind. Mayor Daley and
Governor Blagojevich want you to stay home. Don't make them happy.
