Well, Daley and Blago got TV coverage and press coverage to deceive the
people of Illinois into thinking they are only banning “real” assault weapons
with their
HB 2414 bill. What really got me in the gut was when Daley said 90% of the
hunters don’t belong to the NRA. I thought to myself, not only hunters but gun
owners too in both the NRA and ISRA also. If you didn’t here the audio portion

I thought what is it going to take to get the other gun owners to jump on board
with us. If they don’t belong, they don’t get the email alerts and as a result
have no idea of what’s going on until it’s too late! The general public would
hear Daley’s statement and say “Well the hunters and most of the gun owners must
not object or they would be joining these two groups like crazy.” I ask, why in
the hell aren’t they doing just that! If you’re out there opposing this kind of
garbage legislation, why are you still being an ostrich with your head in the
sand, instead of stepping up and saying, “Here I am, count me in.”
If you are not a member and you have not called your state Rep. by now, or even
worse, you don’t even know who he or she is or what their phone number is, that
is very, very sad and you have just helped Daley’s cause by being quiet. All the
anti-gunners that call tally up numbers in the Reps offices while you look the
other way and talk about what the Bears did. If you know someone like this send
him or her here to hear the tape!
Did you know for the cost of one cup of coffee per month (the webmaster says two
cups, and figures Don drinks more expensive coffee…) you could be a member of
the ISRA? You spend more on ammo at the range.
Please jump in and give us some reinforcements in this never-ending war. Are you
going to just read this and again not do anything? Are you going to let the
others stand up for you? Are you willing to stand next to us? If your idea is by
not joining you will remain incognito, that’s a laugh, because if you have a
FOID card your cover is already blown!! If you join either or both organizations
because of my appeal, please write me and I will post the numbers of new
fighters in a future article. I don’t know what else to say. It’s your guns,
it’s your future shooting, it’s your move. What are you going to do??
