			Our links page has grown rather large, so we've placed shortcuts to the left column here at the top of the page to jump to the section that you'd like to see. Important Disclaimer: Most of these links are to sites that are not part of the ISRA, or affiliated with it. It is possible that some of these sites contain material or viewpoints that run counter to the viewpoints of the ISRA, or your own viewpoints. This will apply particularly to sites designated as representing enemies of your freedoms. We present links of differing or opposing viewpoints because you need to know what these folks are up to, not because we agree with them. We will also present links to other pro-gun sites that we think you should know about, but that we might not agree with completely. Where we know upfront that the site listed is one of our enemies, we intend to make that easily understood by what kind of heading we place it under.

Illinois Pro-2nd Amendment Resolution		This site was begun to promote the Pro Second Amendment Resolution that is currently sweeping Illinois. It was the intent of the founders of the resolution to have the resolution submitted and hopefully passed in as many counties as possible in Illinois.

Champaign County Rifle Association		We are a civil rights organization dedicated to fully restoring to the citizens of Illinois their full rights as guaranteed by the US Constitution. Our main focus is, of course, the Second Amendment. One of our primary activities has been putting up the "Burma Shave"-style signs that you may have seen along many of the major highways throughout Illinois.
Sangamon County Rifle Association		Right Reason on Second Amendment Rights! If you live in this area we invite you to attend our regular SCRA meetings on the first Monday of each month at Diamond's Buffet, 2441 S. MacArthur in Springfield at 6:30 PM (5:30 PM for dinner and conversation). The food is good, all you can eat! You'll have a good time handling the hardware (firearms), talking about the issues and joining in the fun of some great technical presentations. SCRA does not charge membership dues.

AR15.com		This is really a national site, but they've got local bulletin boards for each state. Several members of ISRA leadership lurk on the Illinois Hometown forum. If you want info on your favorite AR-type rifle, or AK variant, this site has a forum for you! Many manufacturers maintain a presence on this site, as well.

National Shooting Sports Foundation		Formed in 1961, The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is the trade association for the firearms and recreational shooting sports industry. Its purpose is to provide trusted leadership in addressing industry challenges and delivering programs and services to meet the identified needs of its members by measurably advancing participation in and understanding of the hunting and shooting sports. Their website is a great resource for all kinds of information.
Where to Shoot		The Where to Shoot web site provides quick and easy access to target shooting and hunting facilities.

Know Your Enemies
Brady Center Brady Campaign		Make no mistake about it: These folks are out to steal your rights, your freedom, and your heritage any way they can. They are indeed misguided, but they wrap the message up in smarmy feel-good platitudes that the ignorant (ignorant about firearms and freedom) can lap up. They have another website too, the Brady Campaign, which features the annual state report cards that for make infuriating reading; notice how the states that get the worst grades from the Bradys are much lower in crime than those that get their high grades?
Illinois Council against Handgun Violence		Don't let the name fool you, they are under the delusion they are combating violence, when what they are really trying to do is take away your right to defend yourself.
Join Together Online		Nameless, faceless individuals working hard on the wrong side of the gun issue, under the guise of public health. They are also concerned about substance abuse, and we are not in conflict with that mission.
NRA-ILA's national list of anti-gun organizations, celebrities, and companies		The listed organizations have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct support to anti-gun organizations. In many instances, these organizations lent their name in support of specific campaigns to pass anti-gun legislation such as the March 1995 HCI "Campaign to Protect Sane Gun Laws." Many of these organizations were listed as "Campaign Partners," for having pledged to fight any efforts to repeal the Brady Act and the Clinton "assault weapons" ban. All have officially endorsed anti-gun positions.

Shooting Competition
Central Illinois Precision Shooters		An association of interested shooters and coaches from Central Illinois, working to establish a new organization to promote safety and training in the areas of precision shooting. Targeting small bore and air gun disciplines for junior shooters, college shooters, and their families. Currently raising funds for their own range and training facility. Please contribute!
Civilian Marksmanship Program CMP Match Results		The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) promotes firearms safety training and rifle practice for all qualified U.S. citizens with special emphasis on youth. The CMP operates through a network of affiliated shooting clubs and associations that covers every state in the U.S.A., including the ISRA in Illinois.
Illinois Highpower		Highpower Rifle competition in Illinois. This is where you can find out about upcoming matches, check results of past matches, and learn how to get started in this enjoyable sport.
Arlington International Airgun Club (AIAC) and AIAC Juniors		Dedicated to Olympic-style air pistol and air rifle shooting. The club's adult 10M range conforms to all International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) specifications for target height and distance, and features individual target lighting that conforms to ISSF specifications for range illumination. The AIAC Juniors 3P Junior Olympic air rifle program teaches students in grades 7 to 12 proper gun safety.

Outdoors Organizations
Illinois Federation for Outdoor Resources		"Our mission is to unite the outdoor resource user groups and individuals of Illinois; namely, hunters, fishermen, trappers, trail riders, conservation clubs, gun clubs, and all other recreational users dedicated to preserving, restoring and developing the state's natural resources upon which their recreation or interest depend, and to provide full time representation for our members with the IDNR and our Legislators." The ISRA is a member of IFOR.
The Illinois Federation of Hunting Dogs		The I.F.H.D. is an organization that was formed January 23, 1988 by a group interested in preserving the Sport of Hunting with Dogs. I.F.H.D. works to conserve the States Resources so that future generations will have the pleasure of Hunting with Dogs in our Great Outdoors. The I.F.H.D is a member of IFOR.
Step Outside		STEP OUTSIDE is a program that encourages outdoor enthusiasts to welcome friends, family and special guests to share in the outdoor experience. STEP OUTSIDE challenges each & every outdoorsman and outdoorswoman to make a pledge to introduce a newcomer to target shooting, archery, hunting or fishing.

Illinois Clubs with Events Open to the Public
Aurora Sportsmen's Club		The Aurora Sportsmen's Club is one of Northern Illinois oldest and largest private shooting sports facilities. Incorporated over 50 years ago, the Aurora Sportsmen's Club (ASC) presently offers a wide range of shooting programs for both the membership and non-member general public. The Club is proud of their tradition of Community Service and Education. ASC offers Friday night trap shoots and CMP clinics that are open to the public.
Kickapoo Muzzleloaders		Founded in 1952 for the purpose of "Preserving for tomorrow the pioneer arms craftsmanship and skill which bore freedom and liberty", the Kickapoo Muzzleloaders Club is a family oriented muzzleloading club which sponsors and hosts a wide variety of events at its range near Bloomington, IL.
LeRoy Rifle and Pistol Club		All Scheduled shoots and matches shall be open to the public unless otherwise stated. the event chairperson or Chief Range Officer operating the event shall have the right to refuse anyone the opportunity to participate.

South Suburban Police Pistol League		30 round bullseye matches held on the 1st Saturday of each month. Located in Midlothian, Illinois. The South Suburban Police Pistol League was formed in 1967. It was originally comprised of law enforcement, correctional and security officers. Over the years many members retired or they desired to have family members or friends join and it has become primarily a civilian league.
